Q. What type of chocolate is used in the fountain?
A. We use the very best belgian couveture chocolate, available in a number of different flavours and colours
Q. Is the chocolate suitable for people who suffer from a nut allergy?
A. We cannot guarantee the chocolate used in our fountains is free from traces of nut.
Q. Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
A. Yes, we have Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £1 Million.
Q. Who will operate the Fountain?
A. We provide two fully trained uniformed staff, who will deliver, set up, replenish dips and keep the area tidy and help guests in the dipping process. All our staff are trained in safety and food hygeine.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes, we require a £100 deposit (non-refundable) at the time of booking to secure a date. Full payment must be made 14 days before the event.
Q. When will you arrive at the event?
A. We will arrive between 1 and 1½ hours before the start time to set up and create our display.
Q. How long can we hire the chocolate fountain for?
A. 3 Hours is our normal working time, you can hire longer (see additional charges). The chocolate fountain will run indefinately as long as we keep adding the chocolate!
Q. What are the requirements for the fountain?
A. All we require is a sturdy table, table linen and a power socket. The chocolate fountain must be placed away from drafts so would be best placed away from any doorways or open windows to ensure smooth flowing of the chocolate.
Q. Can we have the chocolate fountain outside?
A. Yes, we will erect a 3mx3m marquee/gazebo to house the chocolate fountain, we have a perspex serving cabinet to keep the chocolate at the right temperature and keep those insects out. We can supply our own generator if there is no mains power supoply.
Q. Is the chocolate fountain safe for children? Could they burn themselves?
A. Nobody can burn themselves, the chocolate is kept at a constant temperature. Children love it - the hard part is keeping them away.
